Born in 1995, Kate grew up in an old Spanish town southern California. Spending her summers on a family friend’s cattle ranch in north-central Oregon, she developed a love for the west and ranching at a young age.
She moved to Wyoming for college, studying Equine Science, Equine Management and Canine Genetics. Since college she has moved over 20 times, living in 5 different states and countless towns in between.
Searching to find both herself, and the confidence to live her dreams, she has worked many different jobs, but found that cowboying is what made her heart truly happy. She dreams is to someday build a successful livestock operation of her own and enjoys starting colts and training cowdogs.
All her experiences as a “gypsy” have exposed her to many different “styles” of the western lifestyle. She hopes sharing her experiences and philosophy, along with sharing stories from other incredible women in the western industry can somehow bring some light to your life.
